I think this is 6A? Anyway, the red wire came loose
Can anyone tell me where it should be sodered?

I'd mail it to Jim Palenscar. It PROBABLY goes to the empty lug on the switch. But you could conceivably fry something if you put 9V where it's not meant to go.

If you will simply call Goodrich and talk to Kevin Ryan, 760-547-1260 PST, I feel sure he can talk you through it.
The new Goodrich folks are wonderful.

The two units above are different, one is a single battery unit, the other is a dual battery....

| The one with the loose wire has an off/on switch, the 2nd one is an earlier model without a switch. You turn that one off by pulling out the output plug. I'm sure the red wire connects to the switch in order to turn it off. |

Baxter,
Both units have the battery negative wire going to the output jack for switching. After enlarging the photo, there appear to be two holes in the PC board where a wire might attach. Remove the board and carefully look to see where the red wire may have broken or pulled loose. The third lug on the switch has never had solder applied.
