Hello,

Sorry if this has been covered, but after many forum searches I haven't been able to find it.

I need a basic wiring diagram for a D10 pedal steel.

Want to run two telonics into a switch and then into an output jack. Should be pretty simple, but I can't seem to find a wiring diagram anywhere.

Much thanks!
Joe

Take this diagram, but ignore the pots, and connect the orange line to the tip of the output jack (orange becomes blue as if by magic).

The "Orange" shows up as "yellow" on my monitor.

But good diagram.

Perhaps someone could 'splain this to me:
It seems that some (not all) ON-ON-ON DPDT switches want only the opposite corners to be connected instead of bridging both contacts on the same side. Why is that?

Not sure, since not all switch-producers use the same terminology the exact same way Confused

There are "polarity-reversal" DPDT switches on the market, but the switches with that configuration I have used over the years only have 4 connection-points, and are either ON-ON, or ON-OFF-ON as otherwise they would short-out in center position.

When I on occasion need "polarity-reversal" I usually put in a "regular" 6-point DPDT switch and cross-wire it. I don't want to have too many switch-variants stored, and 3 types of "regular" 6-point DPDT switches, in ON-ON, ON-OFF-ON and ON-ON-ON configurations, cover most needs.

If you bridge the outside post, it doesn't matter if you use type-1 or type-2 ON-ON-ON switches
