I'm selling my Carter Starter that I've owned 3 years. 3 pedals, 4 knee levers, Emmons setup. Stays in tune, and comes with case, D2F leg/rod bag, vinyl dust cover, owner's manual and extra set of strings. It is in excellent shape, and there are no issues. It's been out of my music room 3-4 times since I've owned it.I don't believe you'll find a nicer one. I bought another steel and it's time to pass this one on. $ 800 plus shipping, plus 3% if you use Paypal.

| Bob, I don't know what the Carter Starters sold for new, but have heard that the list price was around $ 1200, which included a flimsy bag instead of a case. I bought this case new from Jerry Roller, a fellow Forum member. It is the correct case for the CS. |

In February of 2007 I bought a new Carter Starter from Bobbe Seymour at Steel Guitar Nashville for $689 plus $46 shipping......still have it.
