I am sure this has been discussed a lot, but just got my copy of this book and I dont know what took me so long to order it. I highly recommend this book...lots of great tunes, nice arrangements that sound good, but are not that hard to play ! Each day I play out of this book, I enjoy it more and more !
If you havent done so, get your copy, you wont be disappointed ! Everything Doug plays sounds good, whether on lap or pedal steel,,,I think I now have all of his books and enjoy them tremendously ! _________________ Zum Encore, Remington D8 non pedal, Hallmark Mosrite clone, Gretsch 6120 DSW, Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90,1976 Ibanez L5, Eastman archtop, Taylor Dreadnaught, Telonics pedal, Squire Tele, Squire Strat, Fender Tonemaster, Gold Tone 5 string banjo, Little Wonder tenor banjo, 3 Roland cubes 30s and 80, Carvin combo bass amp |

I agree 100%
Doug's books are a great learning resource for all player levels.
Wonderful arrangements clearly tabbed out & great backing tracks.
Seems to be a new technique, move or trick to learn in each tune, as you go through the book/s.
In addition, many top vids of Doug playing a lot of the numbers are also a big help. |
