I don't know C6.I just put strings on my first ever C6 guitar and the first string is D .015. The second string is E .014.
Is the D tuned below the E ? I suspect it is but I was not expecting it.By the way these are Tommy White Jagwires bought here on the forum.Great way to buy strings B0B , usually down here I have to make up my own sets out of singles .

Yes the D is tuned lower than the E. Tune 'er up and play some 3-1-2-1-3, and 2-1-3-1-2. |

Hi Brendan
which of Buddy's courses do you have ?
they're really the only ones i've used.
man Buddy does me right since he gets me playin' from bar 1
as long as you got the basic notions & the right PSU (pedal set up or is that copedent ?) you can't really go wrong
Buddy's Basic C6 is the one to start with[This message was edited by CrowBear Schmitt on 06 December 2004 at 01:38 AM.] |

Brendan, I suggest you copy the copedent page from Buddy's tab
and then also stick a bit of tape with the lever names over your levers for a bit as reference.
Big E's tab is some of the best.
I have had Crowbear's here for e a bit and it is very useful. |

Hello,
I just picked up Buddy Charleton & Billy Cooper's "Learning to Play C6th Tuning" book & CD. It's a great intro to the back neck.
