The twin reverb I bought was kept in a basement, and the speakers have mold on the cones. Is this something that can be salvaged, or are they basically ruined if they started molding?

It really depends on how long the mold was on there. It can be killed with a light spray application of very dilute bleach and water. I've used this on plastic, wood, and cloth, so there's no reason why it shouldn't work on paper. (PM me for specifics.)
