I wonder if anyone would have a Fender boxcar pickup for sale?
Or is there anyone making reproductions?
Thanks,
Erv |

Erv,
I'll get my parts bin out this week and look, I may have one more left. I sold one just a couple weeks ago. Are you looking for the 8 string version?

They sit kinda high off the guitar. A trap is more functional and is easier to find. Why use an old boxcar when pickups evolved way beyond those old things? _________________ RICK ABBOTT

Russell,
I am looking for a 6 string boxcar.
I hope you can find one.
Rick,
I am trying to restore a Fender that originally came with a boxcar pickup |

Erv,
If I have one it's going to be the 8 string model as I've had a few of the early dual 8 pro's
I'm still going to look for you though. |

Russell,
Do you think an 8 string pickup would work on a 6 string guitar? It looks like there should be enough room.
