90% of the time I solo by just paying the melody, harmonized with a note or two. But here I pretty much just play licks and improvise out of each chord position. I see potential and I am going to work on this more! The instrumental starts at 1:21

I'm not sure if you previously posted details on the 13 stringer you built. It seems I heard an upgraded tone from previous posts with a 12 string. Is that by way of guitar body design, choice of wood, pick up, etc. amp change, all of the above?
At the risk of being presumptious, I think I may have heard a good lick or two [Just Kidding]. In reality, I heard a lot of excellent playing much of which I hope to plagerize.
All the best, Dom. You are an inspiration.

My 13 string is almost identical to my 12 string steel. But the wood is red oak and the pickup is a George L eon while the 12 was cherry and a George L e66... I love them both!

Really nice Dom. I like the chord melody playing that you get from a sixth tuning interval.
I definitely hear a lot of potential as you have the harder part down easy. The outside solo sounds are easy to go for once you have the core melody down.

I must say I love the range of the George L's. Very flexible sound indeed.
