The Host Hotel is the LaQuinta Inn 580-436-5000. Be sure and tell them you're with the Okla Stl Gtr Assoc. The rates are $83.00 for a king & $88.00 for a double. Normal rates I think are 109.00. We have a block of rooms under the Okla Stl Gtr Assoc. name with those rates.

Definitely closer to OKC. Nice town and a tad bit easier to get around in.

I liked Tulsa because the event was at the airport, since I fly in. But, I confess that last year was my first year, so my attendance is of little consequence to the event. Also, I like Tulsa because I was born and raised there and I now live in Houston, so it was a "going home" thing for me.
From the OKC airport I will need to rent a car to get to Ada. This will make it more of a local venue for folks driving in.

Dang it, even though I used to to live in Ada, studied under Smiley Weaver, played with Jerry Duncan, I was planning on Tulsa so I could go see Tommy Crook and eat a dozen Coney Islanders. But I guess I'll be forced to go see Jerry Duncan, LOL.

Terry Canida & Smiley Weaver were my biggest local influences. I followed Terry several times on gigs & it was very nerve wracking.

Jim I assume you will be renting a car at the airport most vehicles you rent now have on board navigation and the address to Mcswain Theater is 130 West Main Street Ada Oklahoma or if you have google maps on your smart phone that will work as well... Slim
