Right after tonight's episode, looked up on the interwebs:

(That' a good article on the show's music.}

What a wonderful version from Junior. Saw the opening again as AMC replayed the episode. Catch it if you can.

Hey Bobby,

Just came to the Forum to ask if anybody knew who did Sleepwalk on BCS! Junior killed it and with such subtlety. What a wonderful version. Thanks for figuring this out. Let me know if you ever see that it's available on any recorded medium.

They did "Waltz Across Texas" on Better Call Saul a few weeks ago. It's seems weird when you hear more steel guitar on a TV attorney show than you do on the Grand Ole Opry. I love the show. Congratulations to Junior Brown for getting in on the big leagues. Very Happy

Most of the times as you guys discuss TV shows I have not got a clue.
Tonight my wife and I needed some entertaining after today's terrible events in Brussels, so we watched BCS
and I also sang along with sleepwalk (my first steel record) Right after that I went to the forum and saw this discussion and I had a laugh.

Junior's no stranger to the bigs--he's been the star of two high-profile TV commercials (apart from Saul):

They had it cranked up loud and you could hear how nice his articulation is. It is a great version. Sounds a lot like the original but goofier. Fit the scene perfectly. I got a big kick out of it.

Always good to hear some steel in a tv show. The Show "Better Call Saul" has featured some good country music this season. They opened one episode with Billy Walker "Funny How Time Slips Away" and used Waltz Across Texas by Ernest Tubb in another.
