I've always used a set of regular gauge electric guitar strings. Adjust to your preferences. For example, from high to low:

1. .013
2. .017
3. .022
4. .036
5. .046
6. .056

Compared to standard guitar tuning, the 1st, 2nd and 6th strings are unchanged.
Tune the 3rd string up one fret to G#
Tune the 4th string up to E (12 harmonic = 1st string)
Tune the 5th string up to B (12 harmonic = 2nd string)

Here's one set from Juststrings.com.

The same set I use Brad...for a long scale, like my Strat-Lap or my Asher I use a 15-58 set.
