I have a Pro II (model 6155) with wide pedals. Don't know if it's just my big feet, but no matter how I adjust the A and B pedal, I often catch a little bit of the A pedal when I'm holding down just the B pedal. Am I the only one with this problem?
Is the easy mechanical solution to replace just the A-B-C pedals with narrow Sho-Bud pedals? Other suggestions?

When I first got my Pro II I had the same problem. Then I started wearing my cowboy boots again and the problem went away.
(plus you look cool!)
BTW, these are great sounding and playing Sho~Buds, arent they!!

Yes, I have that happen on my Professional even though the pedals have been narrowed a bit. I think I'll bring them down to where my Super-Pro pedals are. Never had that happen with them. Funny, I was just thinking about this before I read your post.

My Pro II has had the wide pedals cut down. I can forward a photo if you're interested in seeing what they look like...

Hey "D"..
My old ShoBud had the wide pedals so I just put them in the vise and got a hacksaw and sawed some off each side until it was a little under 3/4" wide. The top of your pedals have the grate on them so you can use one of the lines for a guide on each side to make a straight cut or if you've got a grinding wheel you can take it off with that....JH

Hi D, Sho-Bud would offer a shaved pedal for guys who wanted them cut down. Usually, we cut one line off of each side of the pedal and you can comfortably go two. It is simple to do with a band-saw and a new blade for a straight cut. Clean up the sides with a belt-sander. When you disassemble the pedalbar number each pedal and keep up with the washers so that everything goes back properly. If you need us to do it, just send us the pedalbar. We can do it very modestly.

Thanks for all the helpful responses. What a great neighborhood this is!

(Yes, Larry, this is definitely one of those good-sounding, good-looking Sho-Bud guitar)

Maybe adjusting the pedal height will help.
(before you cut off those beautifull pedals )

I won't cut the wide pedals on my original Sho-bud Pro-1. I like them just the way they are. But good idea, as Marc says, to wear cowboy boots or a narrow shoe of some kind....al

After considering all advice, I took apart my pedal bar and sent the pedals off to Jeff at Marrs Music and he narrowed 'em for me. As he explained, this was the way Sho-Bud offered a "narrow pedal" option. Anyhow, it seems to have fixed my problem, inexpensively. Thanks, guys.
