Here's Ivan Reddington, the master of the Hawaiian steel guitar. We call him Captain because, well... he wears it well! He was an airline pilot for decades and now spends his time helping us put on this show. He and his wife Dee are fixtures at these events and we're proud and fortunate to have him play for us.
Other personnel on stage, from the left:
Mark Moseley guitar
Carco Clave guitar
Charlie Irwin bass
Ron Erwin snare
The Texas Steel Guitar Association's Rick Alexander Sessions are held in memory of Rick Alexander, who ran the non-pedal room at the annual TSGA Jamboree for many years. You can find Rick's performance and instructional video on YT under the rickalexander47 and 'Rick Alexander 1947-2009' channels. Gone but not forgotten, thanks for your contributions Rick. _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |

We have the pleasure of hearing and jamming with Ivan every month at the Manasota Steel Guitar club in Bradenton.
He always has some outstanding tunes.
Ivan's Frypan has the best tone of any steel guitar I've ever heard.
Thanks, Ivan. |

Wade did not play but was 'in the house' for much of the event... I did get to talk to him some... turns out that I went to elementary school where he lives now. I thanked him for starting such a labor of love! _________________ New FB Page: Lap Steel Licks And Stuff: https://www.facebook.com/groups/195394851800329 |
