Sunday March 13...There will be a benefit held for Fiddlin' Frenchie Burke at the Cotton Club & Steakhouse, 212 E Davilla Street, Granger TX. The music will start at 3:00 pm. The line-up of players can be found on the Cotton Club's Facebook page at:

https://www.facebook.com/Cotton-Club-and-Steakhouse-306470759450998/

Frenchie has been battling lymphoma for several years now. It is estimated that he has helped to raise more than $500,000 dollars over the years in benefits for others and we are planning to help raise some money for Frenchie now.
Steve and I will be leaving the TGSA show Sunday morning to be back in time for the benefit. If you are in the area, please make plans to attend. If not, donations will be accepted for the Live and Silent auctions, and of course, monetary donations will be accepted. To donate, call Bubba or Jill Cox at 512-859-0700.

Thank you!

Does he have a Go Fund Me website? This would make contribution a lot easier!

thanks

French is absolutely a man with the greatest personality you could ever meet. He has a unique way with people and makes everyone feel comfortable. And he is a performer's performer...nobody wants to play after him. He is also a fabulous fiddler and vocalist although he claims he is not.

And what Donna said is totally true...he has always provided his services when there was a benefit for musicians in need.

If you could only have one person on a desert island to stay with French would be the person. Please try and help him out.
