I'm trying to lower the 5th string a whole tone and raise my 10th a whole tone on the C-6 neck. I have plenty of travel on my LKL but it seems that the changer only goes so far and then there is no more lowering even though it will move a lot more. I'm working on my Emmons Legrand II (1993) I've so far unsuccessfully only worked on the 5th string. It only will go down from G to the low end of F#. The bell crank position is in the highest of the 14 holes, the rod is in the bottom hole of the changer. Is it possable that the changer will only go down a half tone? I've already put that change on the Fessy and didn't have a problem doing it.
