C6 chords from a pentatonic viewpoint

Some observations about how the pentatonic scale structure
is hidden within chords positions on the C6 neck.

First is shown where all the notes of the C scale are within 12 frets

Diagram below shows pedals and the respective notes that occur in that position.
No pedals are indicated as ---
Starting from the open position it should be easy to see that the bar is placed
according to a pentatonic minor scale.
Another interesting thing is that the pedals occur in the order --- P8 P7 P6 P5

The last two diagrams shows relative positions for the I, II, IV, V & VI chord (all treated as major)

So if one stays at the same fret and plays the I chord --- then pressing
P5 in the same position gives the II chord
P6 in the same position gives the IV chord
P7 in the same position gives the V chord
P8 in the same position gives the VI chord

The last diagram is sorted according to the cycle of 5ths and then the relative pattern for
where the chords are, is symmetrical and mirrored around point marked X

Is it neccesary to know this

I can't tell, but it makes sense to me and I wanted to share
some information about the way I see things

Now, forget all this and play music instead.

Yeah. I pieced that together several months ago, and it made a profound impact on me. Unfortunately, I haven't had a significant stretch of time yet to really integrate that framework.

That's gonna change though. I'm currently setting my life up to minimize distractions so I can get some serious practice done.

Guess I'd better get off here and go practice.
