My sister in law has one, but I haven't played through it. Her Strat sounds pretty good through it, about like a DR, in my opinion. There are a lot of gain options she doesn't use.

For traditional country type PSG I wouldn't think it would have the headroom you'd need and have many options available that wouldn't be used. For something like sacred steel or something else with a more open mind toward tones then it could be a great tool.
