Hi there. I want to add a 1 megohm resistor and a .22 micro-farad non-polarized capacitor to my Goodrich L-120 passive volume pedal, which has a new 500kohm longlife Goodrich pot and three jacks. The capacitor is to block DC that is apparently leaking from my BoBro pedal and the resistor is to isolate my tuner when I plug it into one of the two input jacks.
I could use two .22 micro-farad caps, because I also have a pin connect volume pedal, that had a brand new pot, but got noisy after I plugged the BoBro into it on a gig. Pots are expensive and capacitors are cheap.
There are no more Radio Shack stores in my city. I sold off all of my electronics parts in 2007, keeping only my soldering tools and a spool of solder.
So, who can mail me a couple of 1 meg-ohm 1/4 watt resistors and two .22 micro-farad non-polarized axial capacitors? I can pay via PayPal. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

If nobody on the forum has them in the drawer for you, Electronics Supply in Kansas City is pretty reasonable _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I haven't played with components in decades, so it's possible that the value of the capacitors needed is much smaller than .22ufd. It may only need to be .047 to .1 ufd to block DC, but not affect the audio fidelity. This will be an inline cap, from the input jack to the high side of a 500k pot. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
