Stage One with case
I won't be able to ship until around June 21st when I return to the USA,

The Stage One has been well-cared for and has no mechanical problems. Though very light, this guitar does not move around when the levers are engaged. If you don't know of these steels, please go to Doug Ernest's site:

http://www.stageonesteelguitars.com/home

Price is $870 plus shipping & insurance to be paid June 5th. Postal Money Order or Bank Check for the final payment. Having been a member of this Forum for 17 years, you can check my previous buys and sells to see what other member have said about my transactions.
Thanks, Stevet

I bought this steel new from Doug in fall of 2010 sold it to Steve in March 2011. This is a fine guitar the only reason I sold it was because I couldn't change the pulls. I thought RKL lower 6 to G . I use that change a lot for minors. Wes

Thanks Wes. I would add that except for the last two months, the Stage One remained unplayed for 2 years due to my several hip operations and recoveries. My body, every decade, seems more than willing to support the medical profession and insurance companies.

A Forum member asked for the copedant so here it is:

STRINGS:
Pedal A 5 and 10 B to C#

Pedal B 3 and 6 G# to A

PEDAL C 4 E to F# and 5 B to C#

LKL 4 and 8 E to F

LKR 4 and 8 E to Eb

RKL 1 and 7 F# to G#

RKL 2 D# to D

I've been looking for a Sierra s10 and another stage one.
It seems that a lot of folks want you to ques what the steel guitar looks like or take up a lot of time sending me here or there with info other than the Steel they are trying to sell.
I'm interested in buying a another Stage One but I need pictures and info. Why not just post that and I'll check it out while the rest of you visit!

Sure, Stuart,
I understand about the photos presently not being listed. Good point.

My Stage One is at band members house set up for our 2 days a month practices. This week two of our members are out of town so I won't be there until next week.

The reason I put the link up to Doug's site is for people to see a red Stage One and get an understanding of it if they were not familiar already.

Additionally, I did list some relevant information, namely the copedant, stability when the levers are engaged & how much this steel was used. Then too, I'm not sure how clicking on one link to read what the builder says about this steel is "taking up a lot of time sending me here or there with info other than the Steel they are trying to sell". Have you ever been to Doug's site, Stuart?

Specifically, what other information do you want that I have not mentioned in my post or which can not be found on Doug's site? Thanks, stevet

Yes. and I've gone his shop and picked up one he made for me identical to the one shown in the picture in your reference. Yours is red and I would like to see at least in a picture of what I'm buying. I don't wish to make an issue of this. Hope you all the best and success!

Stuart, I can only repeat what I said earlier about why I could not immediately post photos and the reason for listing the link to Doug's Stage One and Encore site which were:

"My Stage One is at band members house set up for our 2 days a month practices. This week two of our members are out of town so I won't be there until next week.

The reason I put the link up to Doug's site is for people to see a red Stage One and get an understanding of it if they were not familiar already."

As for information, I did write this, correct?
well-cared for and has no mechanical problems, copedant was listed, guitar was stable when the levers were engaged & how much usage this steel had. Then too, I'm not sure how clicking on one link to read what the builder says about this steel is "taking up a lot of time sending me here or there with info other than the Steel they are trying to sell"….(your words, Stuart)

In any case, thanks for the good wishes. stevet.

Thanks, Sidney,
I have a commitment from the foreign buyer above to buy the Stage One but cI an not ship until mid-June when I return to the USA.

I'm pretty certain Eugenio will follow through with the purchase, as I have dealt with him in the past and he has.

Good luck with the search,
stevet
