It's interesting to see the guitars, basses, effects. Some of it is low end stuff. Gruhn's prices are a bit high, of course due to the Emmons connection.

I used to see that Rick parked in Buddy's upstairs bathroom.
The Ashbory Bass was a very cool uke sized solid body electric instrument that had rubber strings. I was amazed how much it sounded like a double bass.
He used to have a clean, early Rickenbacher 7 string frypan that I found at Jim Danz's, Island guitars, in Honolulu for $800.
As Buddy used to like to say: "Rarer than hen's teeth"
He also had a crate of unpolished bars and a tumbler to polish them.
This is one I keep on my speaker:

I know he didn't hang on to more than a couple of steels at a time and I wonder where "The Blade" is now?
