Hello! A steel guitar playing friend of mine is visiting Hawaii (the big island) in the latter half of February and is wondering where he might see some good Hawaiian steel guitar music. Any suggestions?
Thank you!

Absolutely!! If you are lucky, Dwight Tokumoto will be playing that night. One of my favorite steel guitarists anywhere...if you aren't THAT lucky...I will be playing. I fill in when he can't make it and if I am in town.
Seriously, if you can make it, it's good fun....a very backyard style and a fun place to spend the night. Great musicians as well...including a killer ukulele player named Victor Chock.
BTW....it's KANAKAPILA |

The "back-yard" luau stuff was the best in the old days, and likely still is Dave !
