Greetings, Forum members. I'm a long-time musician with a few instruments I'd like to sell, and I hope there might be some interest in here. If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know.

First up, my 2008 Excel 8-string lap steel, built in Japan by Mitsuo Fujii's Fuzzy Pedal Steel Guitar company. I'm selling it for $1300 with its original hard-shell case.

Mr. Fujii became enamoured of Jerry Byrd's playing, and set about creating a series of fry pan lap steel instruments that emulated the early Rickenbacher fry pans that Jerry played.

From what I understand, Jerry Byrd collaborated with Mr. Fujii on the design. Mr. Byrd endorsed and played the Excel lap steels. I purchased mine new from Scotty's Music.

The instrument is in excellent condition. It's satisfyingly heavy and has what I would describe as a sweet, singing tone. It can be heard on JB's last CD, By Request.

Thanks for your consideration.
