TBH,
Is the pot calling the kettle black! When you start throwing mud, you always lose a little ground. Why should Cor's problem get involved in this post anyway unless you are just using it to bash the Lashleys?

Why is it that people that share the same interest argue over this. This is getting nowhere.
IMO religious believe does not have anything to do with the problem a fellow forum member has with a certain company.
The guy asked us if we could provide him with some ideas on how to settle a problem that he has with that company.A lot of members have contributed to such a solution.

I am not gonna argue over the fact wether his complaint is correct or not.

What i believe is that there are some among us that like the Steel guitars this company produces and will do anything to help them.So be it.
When these people open a topic about this company they should be given their say about it.
However sarcastic remarks are not in place here.

Tony, it wouldn't surprise me if it did. This is a hotbed of controversy, as is all previous (I was going to say Prior ) threads that involve PSG manufacturers and their customers who have a beef with them.

The difference here, is that The Emmons Company is ignoring an important part of the steel guitar community. We have seen other manufacturers speak up in their defense in these situations. The matter then is usually set straight, or at least we know that it's a "lovers quarrel" and both sides have misunderstood each other.

Here, we seem to have a situation where the company doesn't care. A company should care enough to at least have somebody represent them publicly.

It is very difficult to NOT assume that they are guilty in this case because of their silence.

I suppose I am a bit thick,I cannot understand how Emmons(the Lashleys)can sit back and read all the flack about them and not even reply in any way to the bad publicity,THEN (thru a third party) wish all Forumites their best.
Does the Emmons company still exist?
The only proof seems to be from a few fellow forumites saying they speak to them.
Best wishes to all
Billy

Erv and Farris- I have no doubt that you are faithfully trying to support the Emmons Guitar Company. Please accept my assurance for the fact that your efforts are having the exact opposite effect. Or, ask any other Forum member. I note that Erv said he "just had a conversation" with the Emmons Company. The idea that they could be aware of this contention, and yet not be bothered to respond is unbelievable- or possibly a business model that has yet to show promise. Without hearing Emmons side,it appears that you are backing the wrong horse. Well, at least you got your parts...

That's pretty much the impression I get as well. However, I suppose it's possible that "Cor's Problem" has not affected their business.

Hi, Billy.
You're back. Good time, I hope.
This whole subject brings no credit to the above mentioned company.
Commonsense hopefully, will prevail.

Come on guys, I believe the intent of this forum is for fellowship, learning, and helping one another. Please, let's stop bashing one another and get on with something constructive.
This forum that b0b has so unselfishly provided us deserves better than this.

I just had a nice conversation with the folks at Emmons, Bobby and Ron. I ordered some parts and they wanted to make sure they had my order correct. Bobby said to be sure and greet everyone on the Forum and extend their gratitude for all the "nice" things being said about them.

Translation anyone?

I'm wondering if the forum censor will filter out the word Ass-kisser..

Guess I'll find out.

Maybe that's two words..
