I have a double 10 string ShoBud pedal steel guitar for sale.1600.00 It has 8 floor pedals and 2 knee levers. Knee levers work both E9th and C6th necks. Guitar is in very good condition and is very solid. Legs are steady and tight. Has not been played much, shows very little wear. Comes with a good case. thanks for looking.

I'm certainly no expert on Sho-Buds but I had a 1977 or so Pro III Custom that also had the smooth pedals...

I might be mistaken but I don't see where the left knee lever is connected to the C6th neck, please advise. Very Happy

follow up for winston: This is a fine Steel for sure, shown by the lower photo, the RK , not LK, is connected to the C6th 3rd string and the E9th strings 4 and 8 by way of an actuator arm to the E9th cross shaft, very typical and common on Sho Buds. The LK serves strings 4+8 . This is the later Sho Bud system, sometimes referred to as the Super Pro system, 5 hole pullers and narrow /smooth pedals. Built right around the transition date from two hole pullers to 5 hole pullers. This one has the earlier Gumby keyheads. Very easy to add additional knee levers, parts are still available . This Steel is probably from 76 or 77 , right around that time frame. These are great players.

This was built January 1978; so yes a transition mechanical parts and I would say one of the last gumby-head sho-bud's.
