Another sad day this past Thursday after Maurice White died at age 74 after suffering for years with Parkinson's.
A great band with great songs that will live on forever, Thanks Maurice for the great vibe!! RIP _________________ Regards, Craig

Maurice White was truly wonderful.
That's The Way of The World
"EWF envisioned polyrhythmic pop as a musical antidepressant: there are times when I feel better just thinking about EWF."*
"And in that fateful moment when all of us choose to recognize our capacity to pursue love rather than fear or hate, we may finally reach the glorious promised land that Maurice White, in his unmitigated genius, sought to illuminate through decades of ever wonderful music."*

Loved the man, and I'm thankful I had his music in my life (in a big way). Was lucky enough to see him perform, as he was the heart and soul of E W F.
He was an outstanding drummer back in the 60s, playing on many Chess sessions for artists like Wille Dixon, Chuck Berry, Sugarpie DeSanto, Little Milton and many others. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |
