Here are some pictures of my ETS. It now has a 12 string neck and a 12 string Alumitone pick up. It has ultra light aluminum legs, Carter pedals, and 2 flags I made and polished myself.
I made a pad ... It cost $15 in materials. It is basically a 1/16" thick aluminum 2" angle cut in the shape of the guitar. I had some soft felt and glued it to the side that touches the guitar to protect it. I used a red computer gel type wrist pad and mounted it to the aluminum cut out. Then I got two tiny c clamps and modified them with thumb screws. Total weight of the guitar 22 1/4 lbs out of the case. I also replaced the keyhead with a spare Carter one and changed the scale from 241/4" to a 24" so that the MSA fretboard neck would be work!

A mouse gel pad is a good idea. What is the longer one made from? Gotta love those wide flags!

Hi Mike,
No it just has a10'string changer. That is the neck I got from you. I like having a wider neck and also I am able to use a 12 string pickup. The first and 10 th string have a better sound. They are not so near the edge of the pickup.

Tim, The longer pad is also a gel pad. Same as the shorter one. I am still looking for a long one but since they are made for computer keyboards. I may not find one. Just type in gel pad wrist rest on ebay or Google and you will find all kinds and colors.

Tim, the flags are made from 1/8th aluminum and are 4" wide. You can buy it on eBay and cut it to size. Drill two holes, get 2 wing nuts and bolts and you have it.

Tim, I took those picture in my practice room. I keep my large amp etc in the basement and use it for gigs. What you see in the picture is just a small practice amp and 12" speaker.

I must say I am really enjoying this ETS guitar. I find that I am playing more than ever. I used to have an S10 Carter which has been fabulous, but I've fallen in love with this little guitar. It took me a while to get it set up like I wanted, but with its aluminum body, neck and legs, together with an alumitone pick up, maybe "steel guitar" is the wrong name for it. My tone bars are all brass with heavy chrome plating. My picks are about the only thing close, ..stainkless steel. Very Happy
