Need a set of strings for a 1974 E9th 12 string MSA pedal steel (5 pedals, 4 knee levers if that matters), and need a full set of replacement strings.
Original set was 13-56, but couldn't find such a set on the Net. Found only a few sets of 12 such as 13-68 (S.I.T S-12).
Since not a professional and living in Israel, I would appreciate your input about the different gauges and your advice about recommended places that sell them on the Net.
Thanks so much!!! |

The 12 string sets going down to .68 etc. are for U-12 tuning. I would suggest contacting Bobby Lee, the forum owner http://www.steelguitarshopper.com/pages/About-Us.html and asking if he would put together a custom set for your Ext. E9 12 string needs. He used to offer customized sets (I believe....not certain). |

I don't remember the gauges of my extended E9th, but the folks at Live Steel might have them saved. As a guess, I'd say I have: 13, 15, 12, 14, 18, 22W, 26, 30, 34, 38, 42, 54 (Strings 11 and 12 being G# and E) _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Easiest just get a standard 10 string E9 set and pick up individual .042 and .054 or .056. Try juststrings.com, their individual strings are very reasonably priced. Don't know about international shipping though. |

I can get you whatever you need. It sounds like you are wanting an extended E9th set but if you are wanting a set for universal tuning that will be a different set-either way I can help. |

That's U-12. I think he wants Extended E9th. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
