So, after months (if not years) of constant pondering, I have ordered my pedal steel.
One of our few German builders, Wolfgang Bednarz, sells a "basic" model that i've just made the first payment to. I posted a link to it a few months ago and you all seemed to approve of it
Now I have no idea how I will survive the remaining 3 month wait... quite likely just playing C6 six string and my dobro, just like I did so far!
Anyway, happy to join the club! |

Thank you, Joachim!
I've been horsing 'round the forum for a while already, but I'm finally making the switch to the big thingie with the pedals. Super excited and totally can't wait.
You play a WBS as well, don't you? |

If I could afford one, I think I would. I have a Sierra, but I would like to have a single neck on the side. The Sierra double neck is heavy! _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Hello Jan,
welcome to the forum. I am glad to see another member from Germany, there are not too many around here. By the way, where are you living? I am from Trier, close to the border of Luxemburg and France. Enjoy your time and do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Sincerely

Yeah, especially the Ultimate models, wow... I'm right now waiting for Wolfgang to send me some colour samples so I can decide what I want. He also has a dark blue that is not on the web site and that might be what I want.
Although right now I'm so desperate for a pedal steel I'd take one in bright pink with unicorns on it. |

Wir nennen es PEDALSTAHL.
Not to be confused with a STAHLPEDAL.
Well, in all honesty we simply call it Pedal Steel... kind of sounds like a Rammstein song this way, don't you think? |

WBS Basic model with 3 pedals, 4 knees has a lifetime of music inside. Lloyd Green creates magic with 3x4. Pull-release changer has reputation for good sound, and tuning stability. Please share pictures when your guitar arrives. I think you will be very happy with it.
