Being a film noir fan, I always liked the Doors' tune "Riders on the Storm." I'm using my lap and pedal steel guitars for this arrangement.

Thanks, guys. I always like to create instrumentals from old favorite band tunes. Blame it on the Ventures.

Chuck, a fine palette of sounds and I liked in particular the double tracking of lap and pedal steels and also the mix. The backing was also quite innovative. If you wish, please send me a good quality (preferably at least 192kbps) mp3 and I will play it on my radio show "Instrumentally Yours" in the near future.

Happy New Year!

I like it, Chuck. Did you kick a Fender reverb tank for the thunder?

Is there a date for the Denver Steel Guitar show yet?

Thanks, guys. Sounds like y'all are Doors fans. Paul, the Denver Steel Show is at Lannie's on June 12 this year. Hope you can make it. Kay, I'll send you a mp3 of the tune. Thanks for promoting instrumental music.

Thanks, Kay. I enjoyed listening to your show. Lots of cool arrangements and tunes. It's so rare to hear a show that focuses mostly on instrumental versions of tunes. Keep on keepin' on.
