thanks guys.. the inspiration for stepping outside the box came originally from Paul Franklin's lessons and an invitation (to the blues) from David Bromberg about 10 years ago.
He liked what he heard but asked me to find a different voice for the steel remarking that my regular country sounds were too "lounge-y" He didn't like the "reverb" ( it was actually digital delay) and let me try an old Epiphone Electar like Joachim Murphy used.
