Glad to see somebody doing this song. Dennis does this well. I think it was Weldon on Johnny Bush's record. The fiddles played the intro with the steel. I wish this fiddle player would have played it with Dennis. Thanks for posting!

I have known Dennis for two years now and all he has done is improve. Wail till you see the "Orange Blossom Special" he played at the meeting. Great job Dennis on your set and look forward to seeing you at the Texas show in March. |

Thanks Guys for the kind words. I copied (or attempted to)the licks off of the record. Here in Texas, that song has to be played a certain way. If not, you may get a visit from the T.S.G.P (Texas Steel Guitar Police) in which case you would be pummeled about the head and shoulders with great vigor. |
