Edited re-write: I need to borrow (for copying) Joe Goldmark's final edition (No. eight) of his Steel Guitar Discography. Joe consents to my doing this. If anyone has this booklet, please contact me at tommybradshaw@gmail.com ...Tom

Hi Tom -

I have one of your original "Chord Construction for the Pedal Guitarist" booklets and will send to you via today's (U. S. snail) mail.

This booklet is a 'must-have' reference for every pedal steel player.

Glad I can help -

Best Regards -

Ron

Edited re-write: Thanks Ron. I have the Chord Construction booklet. I only need Joe Goldmark's booklet now. I need Joe's booklet for another project. I hope someone here on the Forum has one and will loan it to me. ...Tom

I've been in contact with Tom and I'm completely sold out except for my copy that I use a lot. What he's looking for is the 8th Edition with the red cover from 1997 I believe (I'm not at home to double check).

Hi Tom:

I finally found my copy of Joe's booklet, but wow....I bought it in 1985.
So probably not help here I suppose.
Happy New Year.

Man, I must have purchased one of the last ones! It's an invaluable tool and it's hard to imagine parting with it.

Tom, how long do you need it for?

Just as in the model railroad world there are sites that list every possible Lionel car produced along with pictures I wonder if a steel guitar discography site could be built where after the bulk of what is known would be entered and then anyone with an item not listed could have it listed along with pictures of the LP, or whatever media it is on. Then as each new item is born, it could be entered also so that we would have an ongoing up to date discography site with pictures etc
Huge undertaking probably.
I feel like Tom possibly has something exciting in a planning stage.

Mike & Dick: I have edited my opening and 2nd post. As I mentioned, I have been supplied with a copy of the last edition of my "Chord Construction For The Pedal Guitarist." I'm in the process of editing and expanding it. When completed, I'll post it on my web site as a free download to anyone who would like to have it in hard copy. In re-reading it, I realize how much I can expand it. Thus, it will take awhile to do this. I'll notify everyone on the Forum when it is up on my web site and is available for anyone to download.

Mike: I would love it if you will loan me that copy of Joe's Discography booklet. All I want to do with it is photo-copy it, then I would quickly return it to you.

My plan regarding that booklet is to consider a possible "SteelTunes" web site similar to iTunes. Such a project seems overwhelming and I hope I don't get inquiries as to how my plan is progressing. If this ever comes to fruition, I'll definitely be alerting everyone here on the Forum, so no need to make an inquiry about it.

Wow Tom:
Sounds like a huge undertaking, but a valuable site it would be.
We'll wait patiently for news if it can be done.
