Very good price Jerin, there's many guys over here in the UK who would bite your hand off to get that guitar for that price. |

Looks like its identical to my '84 Pro 1 (except the colour). The slightly earlier models (say '82) have a small space between the changer and the end of the guitar, and the keyhead and the other end of the guitar, whereas these '84s are practically flush at the ends, with no wood showing at the top between the endplates and the changer/keyhead. Great guitar, I have not had any problems with the pot metal on mine, and its been played out LOTS. Bitchin' axe. _________________ Luke Drifter on Facebook

Jerin,
My first steel was a Pro 1 back in 1978. I still wish I had it back. If I have any advice at all, it would be to "never get rid of it". Wore out, broke or not, you can always find a way to fix it and you will want to eventually just for the sentimental value of it.
If you get the itch to try new or different, save your money and buy the new one. Then you can start trading and experimenting. And you wil, believe me.
I know I have heard this somewhere before but it is true, "There will never be another like the first one."

Jerin, Congrats on a sweet guitar. My first was a rack and barrel Pro - very easy to work on, if you decide to, and parts readily available. It's nice that it is already a 3x4 so you don't have to add anything to it. _________________ --carl
