YES, there will be a great European Steelguitarmeeting this year. !!
After the very succesfull last steel meeting in 2014, where Dave Hartley was our guest, we decided to organize another event.
This time it takes place on the 30th of April and the 1st of May in San Pietro al Natisone, a small town in the north-east of Italy in the region Friuli.
Italy, the land of good and delicious food and wine, cosyness, nice weather and friendly people.
It will be a 2 days event where steelplayers from all over Europe will meet, play together, sharing ideas and playing techniques, help eachother with adjusting their steels if needed, exchange, sell or buy parts.
We hope that everyone brings his or her steelguitar and amplifier.
The commune of San Pietro has made their theater available, with a stage and various small rooms where you can play, jam and exchange ideas. There is no obligation to play, but if you wish you get the opportunity of course!
The purpose of the meeting is to bring steel players of all over Europe together in a pleasant and easy way.

We will take care of food and accomodation during two days without any profit.
The cost per person are:
€ 150,-- for 2 days, food&drinks and hotel accomodation for friday and saturday night included
€ 100,-- for 1 day, food& and hotel accomodation included. In case you cannot attend both days.
In case you only want to join the meeting including dinner,(in case you don't need hotel accomodation because you arranged a hotel or stay by yourself ) , the cost per person are:
€ 80,-- for 2 days, food&drinks included
€ 50,-- for 1 days, food&drinks included.
Alcoholic drinks are for your own costs. You can bring your own, but there are enough bars and restaurants in and around San Pietro.
In fact you will be in one of the most famous wineregions of Friuli in Northern Italy, the "Collio" , famous for white wine such as "Ramandolo"
Since a lot of European countries are having holidays at the beginning of May, the steel meeting could also be a nice start for a holiday in Italy as well!
We advice you to contact steelguitar friends to make appointments about travelling together and sharing costs.
Let us also know if you want to share hotel rooms. You can also bring your partner if you wish. (For their own costs)

This is a meeting for steelguitarplayers from all over Europe that like to have a great time with eachother.
NO it won't be a festival with big payed names. (If you are looking for that, please visit St Louis or Dallas.)
So no one get payed, everyone buys his own meals and pays his own stay.
BUT, we will manage to have food and stay for low prices!

Ja, es wird ein großer Europäische Steelguitarmeeting in diesem Jahr. !!
Nach dem sehr erfolgreichen Treffen im Jahr 2014, wo Dave Hartley unser Gast war, beschlossen wir, ein weiteres Ereignis zu organisieren.
Dieses Mal ist es findet am 30. April und 1. Mai in San Pietro al Natisone, einer kleinen Stadt im Nordosten Italiens in der Region Friuli,
Italien, das Land der guten und leckeres Essen und Wein, Gemütlichkeit, gutes Wetter und freundliche Menschen.
Es wird eine 2 Tage Veranstaltung, wo steelgitaristen aus ganz Europa sich treffen, mit einander spielen, den Austausch von Ideen und Techniken zu haben, einander helfen mit ihren steelgitarre einstellungen, wenn nötig, tauschen, verkaufen oder Erzatsteile kaufen.
Wir hoffen, dass jeder seine Steelguitar und Verstärker bringt.
Die Gemeinde San Pietro hat ihr Theater zur Verfügung, mit einer Bühne und verschiedene kleine Räume, wo man, jammen kann und Ideen austauschen kan ,
Es besteht keine Verpflichtung zu spielen, aber wenn Sie wollen, bekommen Sie die Möglichkeit, selbstverständlich!
Der Zweck des Treffens ist Steelgitaristen von ganz Europa zusammen in einer angenehmen Atmosfere zu bringen

Wir werden uns ohne Gewinn zwei Tagen um das Essen und den Unterkunft kümmern.
Die Kosten pro Person sind:

Da viele europäische Länder Urlaub am Anfang Mai haben, könnte der Steelguitarmeeting auch ein schöner Start für einen Urlaub in Italien sein!
Wir bitten Sie Steelguitarfreunde zu kontaktieren, Ernennungen vorzunehmen etwa die zusammen reisen und Kostenteilung.
Lassen Sie uns auch wissen, ob Sie Hotelzimmer teilen wollen. Sie können auch Ihre Partner mitbringen, wenn Sie es wünschen. (Für ihre eigenen Kosten)
