I just picked this up today, and I am blown away with the tone of these little steels ! It also has excellent action. For the money, I dont know how anyone could go wrong with these steels. I ordered the pad from Doug today as i am used to having an arm rest on the back. I used to own a Zumsteel D10 that Bruce built for me in 1995, that I regret selling.
Here are two pics of this great steel.

Larry, that's nice. It will stay "right" for a long time, and has all Lloyd ever needed (that's my motivation to practice more, and think about new STUFF less). Congrats. |

You are right about the motivation factor, this steel sounds so good that it encourages me to practice more all of the time....sometimes you sit at a steel and for some reason, probably a combination of things, it just feels "right", and thats the way it is for me with this steel ! _________________ Zum Encore, Remington D8 non pedal, Hallmark Mosrite clone, Gretsch 6120 DSW, Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90,1976 Ibanez L5, Eastman archtop, Taylor Dreadnaught, Telonics pedal, Squire Tele, Squire Strat, Fender Tonemaster, Gold Tone 5 string banjo, Little Wonder tenor banjo, 3 Roland cubes 30s and 80, Carvin combo bass amp |
