What do I have to do to make this Amp sound good on my Steel Guitar. That's #1 and #2 is how can I use my Head Phones on this amp. My Wife is going crazt with me playing loud as I have hearing aids and I guess i play it loud because I have a hearing problem.I'm waiting to have some one help me out. Next Question is I have a Zum S 10 with 3& 4 and I think it could be the Pick up that is not letting me get the sound I'm looking for. Help me Please.

Hi Sam. I hope I can help you. I play through a Peavey Nashville 112, before I used a Vegas 400. I got rid of Vegas, because of weight, at th time I was playing a Sho-Bud Pro III, got rid of it for same. Anyway I am playing now a Mullen Discovery, Match Box, Goodrich L-120, and the Nashville 112. I have a 90% hearing loss in both ears, and wear hearing aids in both. I did have a Zum OneStage until about 3 months ago, I then went to the Discovery. The Zum is a excellent steel, I loved it, as I do the Mullen. I can only tell you how I do it. I don't know anything about the Bandit, but I don't think it works very well with a steel. I plug my guitar into the LOW Input of my amp, and set my volume ,on the amp, at about 2. Then I watch my foot, as to how much I apply. If I get carried away sometime, I'll set my pedal at a lower level, take my foot of it, and play that way. I am 75 years old, wife is 74,she has excellent hearing, been married 57 years, and I started learning steel in 1985. We live in a small two bedroom house, and the rooms are not big rooms. It works. My steel is setup in the bedroom. (I haven't tried to play while she sleeps yet. hahaha) Tell me a little about your hearing lose and hearing aids. Wait to hear from you. You can call me and talk too. 814-437-6409 _________________ Zum U-12, Carter SDU-12, Zum Encore, Emmons S-10, Emmons D-10, Nashville 400, Two Peavey Nashville 112, Boss Katana 100, Ibanez DD700, Almost every Lesson Jeff Newman sold. Maybe I miss understood and you don't wear hearing aid. If you have a hearing loss and don't wear hearing aids, I can't help you. Headphones is the only thing, and usually it blows the speakers in the headphones, unless you have a way to amplify the headphones first. It's really a lot of trial and error, and what works for you. Everyone is different, the next would be a divorce. Just joking, it is really hard on both husband and wife. Glad to help anyway I can. Let me know. _________________ Zum U-12, Carter SDU-12, Zum Encore, Emmons S-10, Emmons D-10, Nashville 400, Two Peavey Nashville 112, Boss Katana 100, Ibanez DD700, Almost every Lesson Jeff Newman sold.
