I use the same thumb pick for steel. LOVE it. Blue chips are pricey, but well worth it. No wear and a really nice bevel makes them feel "faster" on the string than other picks IMO. $25 might seem steep, but they're $40 new. These picks have taken over the bluegrass world. Sound like tortoise without the wear. This is a deal for somebody.
