I'm doing this at the risk of showing my stupidity knowing full well how that I'm not well versed in theory.I've been experimenting with dropping strings 4 and 5 a whole tone while raising 2 and half.It gives an F6 when engaged(RKL).It's really useful and kinda does the same thing that A and B pedals do on E9th.Anyway let me know what you think.DAVE

Do you mean dropping strings 5 & 6 a whole tone?
