There is a faint signature on the The Rod bag to my S12 Emmons PP. Its in black marker and the bag is black so its almost hard to see. I noticed it a while back and haven't given it much thought. Any idea of its value? I would sell it if anybody is interested. Thanks

I dunno...seems like a strange place for an autograph? Are you sure that it's Buddy's signature, and not something that somebody else might have just have written on there?

Most permanent markers are flourescent, so it should show up much better under black (ultraviolet) light. Winking

My Autograph of Buddy...Hal Rugg...and Herb Remington were done by them on the underside of my old Sho-Bud Universal 12. This is when they came to U.K. Also done in felt nib pen. I agree with Donny, that was a funny place to have an autograph ?? Confused

Right. I was thinking the same thing. The Previous owner thought it may be legit but Wasn't sure either.

I have Buddy's, Pauls, and Jimmy's signature on my Matchbox. Almost all faded away. Not a strange place for a signature, rod and leg pouch might have been the only thing that was portable enough to take to a steel convention.
