This is an original 1954 Fender Dual 6 Professional Lap Steel. It is in all original condition and is very clean!! It works fine and sounds great. The body is dated 4/54 (April of 1954). The pots date to the 33rd week of 1953. Original CD Capacitor. Serial Number #3155. Inside the control cavity under a piece of masking tape, there is the name "Tony Thomas" carved. I purchased this from the original owner's family. They do not recognize the name, it almost looks like it was done at the Fender Factory?? The blonde finish is to die for!! All of the chrome is beautiful with no pitting or rust. Totally 100% Original!! Not one single solder joint has been touched!!! Includes original, good-condition, tweed case and legs. The case is locked in the open position and I don't' have the key. This one is as nice as it gets! $1300 plus shipping. Thanks!
