Would like to find this or the best setup for this tuning.I know it is use but cant seem to locate.....I have a 2 by 2 6 string steel...

You're wanting GBDGBD on a 6-Shooter or something like it? I wouldn't.
If I had to, I'd have one pedal pulling the Ds to E and the other one pulling the Bs to C.
Or tune it open F#ADF#AD, with one pedal pulling the F#s to G and one pulling the As to B.

Actually, if I was wanting to play dobro parts with a couple of pulls, I would put one on a 6 string PSG. As some know, I have a pedal (9) and knee lever(rkr) that when used together make a dobro G tuning from string 3 to 8 on my C6 neck. Also have changes on P8 (I have 9P) that can be used with it, as well as my P7 (which is the regular P6). I don't get to use it much. Any songs I use dobro sounds on are never in the keys that can get the advantage of the open strings. A PSG Capo would be great to transpose to different keys.

Open G tuning Pedal setup Like on the Hudsonator Resonator Pedal Guitar
Pedal 1 Lowers 2nd string B to A and lowers 3 rd string G to F#
Pedal 2 Raises first string D to E and second string B to C
LKR Lowers strings 2 & 5 From B to Bb
LKL raises 4th string D to E
RKL Lowers 3rd string G to F
Pedal 1 gives you a D chord Or 5 Chord
Pedal 2 gives you a C chord or 4 chord
LKR gives you a complete Minor
LKL Gives you a 6th Chord
RKL Gives you a 7th chord.

Both pedals down gives you the G dobro tuning.

Richard D. If you are comfortable with dobro tuning, I don't see any reason why not. Lane has good ideas on changes. Also,check into the Cajun copeds. It believe some are working with fewer strings and pedals than E9 and are in G.
Richard S. Dobro tuning on the C6 neck is a great idea. A PSG capo must exist. I have a dobro capo that works.
J Hudson. I watched you YT videos and the instrument looks and sounds great. I like the simplicity. When I played a lot of slide guitar, I wanted levers to go from G tuning to to E tuning to Spanish standard. Now we have 6 str pedal steels, why not?
Why no C pedal? And why the complicated tuning protocol? It almost seems like a push pull tuning order.

Bob, I think I see where you are going. You can have dobro tuning in AB pedals and also do the pedals down licks from E9 on the first 3 strings(but in G). You have an F#minor chord and B minor. A B7. But no Eminor. Also would be nice to pull D to E when in the key of G.
Why would you not have the D raise and lower on both D strings?

I like that, b0b. Yields lots of chords.
I can see it in E/A for six-string psg. Having the D->D# lower on the hi string gives a nice M7, Bm9, and GM11. |

Because jazz. 
If the changer allows, it would be good to lower the low G to F# on the lever that raises D to D#.
