When I turn the LTD amp on last night at a gig there was a solid hum and the speaker physically was pulled in. I tried the speaker with another amp and it works fine. What could cause this? Last week I used it the amp all night right to the last note with no issues. Weird start to the night. Thanks in advance, Andy

That usually means dc on the outputs caused by bad transistors. Get it repaired and do not connect a speaker until it is fixed. If you don't know a good tech, send it to Peavey.

Larry's correct. There are many possible causes for that happening...from cold solder joints, to blown transistors. It needs an experienced tech.

If it were mine (and I wasn't an ex-amp tech) I'd send it to Peavey. They will check the whole amp out and make sure it's in good shape.
