For those of you who get a kick out of junk steel guitars, this one for sale at a Swedish auction site will be rewarding. I think I've seen it on E-bay before. The starting price is equivalent to 275 US dollars. No wonder there are no bidders yet. $ 2.75 would be more appropriate...

Enjoy!

Farris, I sort of knew you would like this one... Can't help but love the stylish keyhead, can you? And the pedals - looks like they swing sideways!
I guess the builder will remain anonymous - If I had built this weird contraption I sure wouldn't tell anyone!

I believe that's the "door hinge steel". It was on ebay 6-8 weeks ago. Look at the size of the hex head bolt on the changer end. Wonder if it's grade 5?

Somebody put a cover over the changer end 'cause in prior pictures you could see the strapping that held the changer fast.

Should be advertised in "kitchen equipment" - looks like a good working egg cutter!

IS that not the one that was on eBay a while back. Same pedal board. I think it sold for around 160.00.

WOW! This steel is going to be like one of those bears that gets all around the world that starts off with a grade school class getting someone to take it on a flight overseas. Your are right Ed, Same steel, its going to be famous from just traveling around, let alone who might play it. Jump on quick guys, its going to be a collectable for sure. I have a picture of the original builder playing it if anyone would like me to email it to them. Per Berner, nope the pedals work just like all the rest. What you are looking at in the picture are pedals that were origanally barn door hinges, cut in to and welded together, The barn door parts give it a real country sound.

Yep love those gate hinge pedals - I'll bet the undercarriage is made from #8 fencing wire.
I'm surprised it hasn't been snapped up by a local fisherman as an anchor for his boat !!
