This steel now is 8 and 5 with the addition of the vertical knee lever just last week. This steel was new in April of this year. Pictures here;

Price is FIRM and a bargain at this price or I might consider taking 2 steels of equivalent value, or one steel plus cash, depending on what they were, of course. I know I wouldnt want any vintage pedal steels, but might consider one of them to be a vintage non pedal. I would sell both of them. Just a thought !

I will pay shipping on this if you pay the pay pal fees.

I will send more pictures upon request. Thanks for looking.

Howdy folks, Larry had ordered the standard 8x4 on this guitar when it was built in April of this year.
Two weeks ago he had me to install the vertical knee lever which makes it a 8x5 now.
This guitar is standard Emmons set up on both necks.
It plays and sounds like it should, great.
Its a great guitar at a great price, with no wait.

I know, I know, your saying hey Fred, your knocking your self out of a sale here by helping Larry sell his.
Well, that may very well be, but my friend Larry is a great guy and this is a great guitar that needs to be played and enjoyed.
So take advantage of a rare situation, buy the guitar, you'll be glad you did. Very Happy

Thank you Fred for those nice words ! It is indeed a great steel, and I am sure I will regret selling it, but for now it seems like the right thing to do.

Another wild hair idea probably and a long shot, but I might be interested in taking in two steels for this one, depending on what they are, of course or one steel and cash. I would not be interested in taking in a vintage pedal steel but I might consider one of them to be a vintage non pedal steel. In all probability, I would sell whatever I got in a trade. Like I said, this probably wont fly, but just a thought ! It could save you some cash outlay if you are considering moving to a double neck steel.

Mainly looking to cash out on this, but if it takes trading for 2 steels of lesser value and selling both of them, then I would go that route. Send me an email with what you got if you have any interest.
Thanks for looking !
