this will be my next pedal steel , talked to Mr. Hudson today and he is backed way up but will start building it after the new year

Beautiful!
And I just noticed that Hudson has square/rectangle legs, like a Sierra Sessions. I assume they attach in a manner similar, plug into a hole inside the body and clamp down w/ a wing nut of some sort?

here is a link that shows how the legs are attached the video is for a six string
but i'm sure its the same for the 10 string , i love the adjustment that Mr. Hudson adds to the pedals

| Looks like a nice, lightweight, beginer's model that would be easy to work on, and the price is very reasonable. Tone-wise, it sounds fine, but the guitar in the video probably doesn't sound as good as it could because it isn't in tune. |

| These Hudson steels are more then just a beginners model. I own or have owned just about every brand of steel there is and these Hudson steels are as good if not better then some. and Mr Hudson is a great guy to deal with he bends over backwards to get you guitar like and how you want it. so don't lable them a begginers model just because they don't cost a guy a arm and leg to own. |

Listen to all of the video. It is showing how to setup and tune the guitar. At the end the guitar is in tune and does sound as it should. The guitars do stay in tune as good or better than most any pedal steel.
I am the builder and I don't mind blowing my own horn on the guitars I build. |

i have owned several guitars over the years and some were pull release and some were not ,
but i find that i actually prefer the pull release guitars,
especially the feel of the knee's
i have yet to have one that didn't stay in tune and i am positive this one will as well
Mr. Hudson has an impeccable reputation as a builder
something tells me that these might just be the most underrated guitars on the market today

..ships today (12/2). 6 string, 2k 2f. Mahogany wood.
Jimmie raised the height 1 1/2" for me, so should fit me just fine.
