How do I hook up a Blues Driver pedal to the guitar and amp? It is a non tube amp does that make any difference? I can't do it I don't know how.

It should not matter whether your amp is tube or solid state. I suggest you go from the guitar to the Blues Driver, then to the volume pedal, and then to the amp. It should work well that way.

However, some people prefer to put overdrive pedals, such as your Blues Driver, after the volume pedal. It's really just personal preference. Good luck.

Billy, for maximum distortion effect, put the Blues Driver between guitar and VP...
I have mine between VP and amp,as part of my pedalboard...
Less distortion, more like a tube amp turned all the way up...
I use it with a SS Peavey Nashville 1-12 amp for the slide guitar sound...

Hope this helps...

If you have an effects loop, you could insert it into the signal chain there... But I always like effects before the volume pedal, except for reverb, which sounds more realistic if it trails off after the note fades out.

The best Blues Driver I've ever heard I ran through my DIY Dumblelator (tube effects unit).

Dumblelator connects through your amps effects loop rather then straight into input jack as the Blues Driver was designed to be used.
