Being a complete electronics dummy,,,,would it be possible,,or practical,,or difficult to install an XLR outlet into a NV 112?

By far the easiest way to do what you're trying to do is to mount a DI box in the back, between the amp and speaker. Make sure you get a DI box meant to go between an amp and speaker (bass players use these all the time) and also make sure the pad (attenuator) is turned on (tape it down!). This will also have a ground lift, leave it turned on (lifted) too.

Don't they have a line(XLR) out in the back of the guitar? The Peavey manual i just looked at online showed an XLR out on the back of the amp......

Yes they "DO" have an XLR "OUT" the back of the Nashville 112 to punch into a big PA at concerts etc Smile

Sonny. If you dont have an xlr out on the back of your 112 than its not a nashville 112.

I heard from Sonny via email... he was actually looking for an XLR input, not output. I told him to get a mic transformer and try that.
