I have had my effects pedals stuffed in boxes so I thought I would organize them. Every time I see a DD-3 or RV-5 for sale at an attractive price I would buy it thinking I may never get another should I need one.... Whoa!

Also, here are my Boss three pedal cases that I grab and go with. Very compact.... Smile

Wow.....what a collection. What is funny to me is that you have multiple duplicates of the same pedal. At least 4 Boss Digital Delays and 3 Boss Compression Sustainers. lol

I have seen some guitar pedal boards that have multiple pedals that are the same. The one player I talked to told me that they are set differently for different song types, so they don't have to bend down and change settings, and not forget to reset them if necessary.

I don't think that is what Len is doing though. I would like to see him hook up all the pedals at the same time though. That is quite a collection.

I just pulled out all my pedals from boxes and put them on my rolling cart so I could do an inventory and see what I had. I recently picked up Three DD-3 delays for $35.00/ea. How could I not do that deal😬
I picked up 4 RV-5 reverbs on the right out of camera range. The Boss compressors were super cheap also. I keep saying I have enough pedals or gear but I need a hobby, so😎

Hoarding "things" depends on your cash flow.
A few years ago I was collecting guitars.
Then I went to amps.
Then to effect pedals.
And now I'm down to picks. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I too buy pedals when they are the right price, although one of my hobbies is modding them! (My collection doesn't hold a candle to yours!)

My thoughts exactly.

I haven't organized mine, and I've just started acquiring boards for some of them. I'm pretty sure everything is in one of about six (?) cartons or milk crates. Some of them haven't been played for awhile, so I might need to make sure the batteries haven't leaked.
At one time, there were three Danelectro cases licking around here, all filled with various models of the small "Food Series" pedals, but I think those got "borrowed" and not returned.
And I really need to find my wah-wah pedal . . .

I went looking for more info on a modified Boss DD-3 that I just got (or maybe I was looking for instructions for my "new" HR-2 Harmonist), and saw a YouTube video by a guy who I think has at least one of every "Compact" pedal that Boss ever made, all neatly arranged on shelves. That might qualify as an addiction, or something. Wink

I went to my guitar shop and asked to look at some pedals. I need to experiment a bit.
They said, "We don't have any. Len bought them all".

Len, I'm reminded of the time I visited you, a few years ago, and you had 10 pedal steels in your music room! Cool Not to mention a wall of amps, guitars, and lots of other goodies! Hey, why not? I say... go for it! I'm a gearhead too.

I'm definitely a gearhead, and proud of it. I've probably owned over 200 guitars and about 75 amps in my lifetime (so far) and I've enjoyed every one of them!

Hey Doug,

I am down to 3 pedal steels, 5 lap steels and 25 amplifiers. Lost count of 6 string guitars. Was a recovering recluse rehabbing so the gear acquisitions kept me occupied. Doing much better 11 weeks post op and looking to play out again next year.

I just need a few more DD-3 delays🤓

Len, quick question - I understand that the Boss 3-pedal case is designed for Boss pedals to snap into place securely. Did you have to use velcro or something else to secure those tc electronic brand pedals or do they fit as snugly as the Boss pedals do?

I ask because not all my pedals are Boss brand size. Thanks.
