Hi, I don't know if that question has ever been brought up on the Forum, but I'd like to know who played the PSG on this hit by Willie Lamothe, famous Quebecer country singer of the 60's and 70's, called Mille Après Mille.
He had a weekly show called Le Ranch à Willie on which his steeler was Buddy Ackers, who passed out a couple of years ago, so maybe it was him but I have no way to tell except to ask on the Forum in case someone knows it, but all I can say is he did a whale of a job (excellent chicken pickin' in the chorus, like our Jean-Guy Grenier would do today). You can listen to the song with this link.

Thanks,

Ray can you explain the technique used on the picking that he's doing in the back ground? _________________ 78 Emmons PP,Great tone.82 Emmons SKH #56 |
