Saw this on Facebook earlier today and didn't get too excited prior to checking out the price because I knew it would be steep - and it is: $17,900.

Out of the instruments that have been sold from Mike's collection there are only two that I really covet: this one and its brother, #401.

I figure on the Beard MAS guitars that were owned by Mike I would just as soon have a brand spankin' new one were I in the market, with the ultra cool Hearts & Flowers coverplate. In the sort of yellowish/tobacco burst finish like one that Paul brought to ResoSummit in Nashville five years ago, and Mike told me there it was the first 'burst of his model that he actually liked.
